The iPhone 18 Pro hasn’t officially arrived yet, but that hasn’t stopped the Apple rumour mill from going wild in the lead up to its expected launch later this year. It’s a lot to keep on top of, which is why we’ve gathered up all the rumours and leaks worth knowing about, served below for your reading pleasure.

If you want a short summary – at first glance, the iPhone 18 Pro doesn’t sound like a dramatic redesign. Most reports suggest it’ll look broadly similar to its predecessor, with the same overall shape, screen sizes, and triple-camera setup. Dig a little deeper, though, and some interesting upgrades appear to be onb the cards:

A smaller Dynamic Island, Apple’s first variable aperture camera, a next-generation 2nm A20 Pro chip, brighter displays, longer battery life, and a new C2 modem are all rumoured to be on the way. Apple is also said to be shaking up its launch strategy, splitting the iPhone range across two release windows for the first time in years.

While nothing is official yet, here’s everything we know about the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max so far…

iPhone 18 Pro price and release date

If the current rumours are accurate, Apple is preparing one of the biggest changes to its iPhone launch schedule in years.

Multiple reports suggest that the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max will launch in September 2026. The standard iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e, meanwhile, are expected to be pushed back until spring 2027, while Apple’s long-rumoured foldable iPhone is expected to arrive around the same launch cycle as the Pro models.

As for pricing, the good news is that most analysts don’t currently expect a major increase despite the move to more advanced chip technology. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo and analyst Jeff Pu both believe that Apple is likely to maintain an aggressive pricing strategy, with prices staying broadly in line with the current generation. There are no credible UK pricing rumours at the time of writing.
