On June 12, the 500th set of medium-speed engine SCR systems passed all bench performance tests. It is supplied by Shanghai QiYao Environmental Technology to Daihatsu Inphase Co., Ltd. The delivery was completed under the joint inspection and witness of three international classification societies, namely CCS, BV and LR. Shanghai QiYao Environmental Technology is a subsidiary of CSSC’s Shanghai Marine Diesel Engine Research Institute (SMDERI).

During testing, the equipment operated stably, with all emission and performance metrics meeting design specifications. This delivery not only marks a new milestone for QiYao Environmental Technology’s SCR products in terms of standardized development and mass production but also further strengthens the deep cooperation between the two parties in the field of marine environmental protection equipment.

Since the two companies first entered into an order partnership in 2022, QiYao Environmental Technology has gradually become a key partner for Daihatsu in the field of marine exhaust aftertreatment. To date, the two companies have signed orders totaling more than 1,000 units.

Currently, QiYao Environmental Technology’s SCR products hold a leading market share in the domestic market and have become a major player in the field of exhaust aftertreatment for marine medium-speed engines.
