The 2027 Ghost OG bat went on sale this week online and in retail stores.

Easton, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of softball equipment, announced this week the launch of the 2027 Ghost OG, a tribute to the original Ghost Double Barrel fastpitch softball bat that helped redefine performance in the game.

The bat was made available on Wednesday (June 3) for purchase online and hit the retail stores on Thursday (June 4).

Launching in conjunction with the 2027 Women’s College World Series and start of the AUSL season, this bat release highlights Easton’s partnerships with top collegiate programs and sponsored athletes, including:

  • NiJaree Canaday (Texas Tech),
  • Megan Grant (UCLA),
  • Maya Brady (OKC Spark),
  • Rachel Garcia (Texas Volts),
  • Erin Coffel (Chicago Bandits),
  • Skylar Wallace (Chicago Bandits),
  • Michaela Edenfield (Texas Volts), and
  • Mary Iakopo (Chicago Bandits).

The Ghost OG already made its presence felt on the sport’s biggest stage, appearing throughout the 2027 Women’s College World Series and was swung by Texas Tech as part of the Red Raiders journey to making it to the national championship series final.

Maya will play for the OKC Spark this summer in the AUSL with the season starting on Tuesday, June 9.

Leading the Ghost OG campaign is Team Easton athlete Maya Brady, one of the game’s most recognizable and accomplished players.

Maya joined Team Easton in January and serves as the face of the Ghost OG campaign.

During her standout career at UCLA, Brady earned back-to-back Pac-12 Player of the Year honors in 2023 and 2024, multiple First Team All-American selections, and, ultimately, becoming the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 AUSL draft.

She is currently part of the Team USA player pool for the 2028 Olympics after helping the United States earn silver at the 2024 Women’s Softball World Cup and gold at the 2025 World Games.
