Back in February, Google announced that Android users would be able to create custom stickers from their own photos. As you can imagine, it’s a pretty fun addition, allowing you to express yourself in your own unique way in supported apps, like Google Messages, WhatsApp, Line, and more. And while things were already pretty good, it looks like custom stickers are getting even better, with Google now storing and saving your creations going forward.

A small but welcome enhancement

The news comes from 9to5Google, sharing that custom stickers will now be in the Collections tab. This tab will show all the custom stickers you’ve created, providing easier access when needed.

The news outlet also states that this should be rolled out to all users, and is now available in Google Photos version 7.78. If you’ve yet to update your app, you’ll want to do that now in order to gain access to this feature.

9to5Google states that you should have access to this if you see a Collections tab or there’s a prompt in the app stating that custom stickers will now be saved in Collections.

We love it when Google makes some welcome updates, especially with Photos. Most recently, the brand made it easier to export your photos from the service if needed. While you’ll still use the Takeout tool, you can now do incremental exports to save your time.
