The 4 iPhones That Won’t Get the iOS 27 Update
According to a leak from Weibo-based tipster Instant Digital —according to Instant Digital — four iPhone models currently running iOS 26 are absent from the iOS 27 compatibility list:

Why the A14 Chip Is the iOS 27 Drop Support Threshold
The reason Apple draws the line at the iPhone 12 isn’t arbitrary — it comes down to the processor inside. The iPhone 12 was the first model to ship with the A14 Bionic chip, and iOS 27’s heavier workloads, particularly those tied to Apple’s on-device AI features, appear to need that extra headroom.
