Motorola has done something unusual. Before officially unveiling the Edge 70 Pro+ on June 4, 2026, in India, the brand had published all the specifications, pictures, and other marketing material related to the phone on its website.

It’s all there, before the launch, leaving nothing for the rumor mill to speculate about. And it isn’t accidental, because the landing page hasn’t been taken down. It just says that the product is currently out of stock while revealing everything else.

What does the Edge 70 Pro+ offer?

The handset features a 6.8-inch AMOLED panel capable of achieving a peak brightness of 5,200 nits. It also supports up to 144Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. Leveraging its partnership with Pantone, the company has got the phone certified for Pantone Validated Color and SkinTone.

Under the hood, the phone runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset, with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage. Out of the box, the phone ships with Android 16, with the brand promising three years of major operating system updates and five years of security patches.

The camera setup is where the smartphone earns its Pro+ badge. You get a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 primary sensor with OIS, joined by a 50MP ultrawide with autofocus (which also doubles as a macro shooter), and a 50MP periscope telephoto at 3.5x optical zoom (up to 50x hybrid zoom). A 50MP front camera handles selfies.

Is there a catch?

The battery is a 6,500 mAh silicon-carbon cell, which supports 90W wired charging and 15W wireless charging, packed inside a chassis measuring just 7.34 mm thick and weighing 190 grams, which is quite commendable.

The phone also carries two ingress protection ratings: IP68 and IP69. Available colors are PANTONE Zinfandel, PANTONE Chicory Coffee, and PANTONE Stormy Sea. What’s not known, however, is the phone’s Indian price, and, more importantly, the US…
