People in North Georgia may have noticed more Flock Safety Cameras appearing on roadways.
The Flock Camera Systems were founded in 2017. The system uses the power of License Plate Recognition (LPR) technologies to assist law enforcement officers, business owners, and communities.

The cameras use AI technology to provide real-time intelligence with live and recorded video. The system is able to notify nearby law enforcement of a wanted vehicle in real-time.
There are several placed in Whitfield County, Georgia. The sheriff’s office praises the tool and its abilities to assist in various investigations and proactive policing.
“The Flock camera system is extremely beneficial to a law enforcement agency and, in turn, the general public. We can speak for our agency in saying that this tool has been used by our investigative office to close and solve numerous dangerous cases, including assaults and even murders.
