May 2026 – Agency NOVA has announced the creation of its Artificial Intelligence Committee to lead the structured adoption of the technology across different areas of the agency by October 2026. The initiative is part of an internal transformation plan focused on incorporating AI into processes, workflows, and solution development.
The creation of the committee follows an internal assessment conducted in March, which involved 120 professionals from 18 departments across the agency to map the current stage of technology usage, identify adoption challenges, and understand opportunities for practical application in day-to-day operations.
The committee’s first lineup includes six full members and four alternates, selected from more than 70 NOVA employees who expressed interest in participating in the project. With representatives from areas such as Creative, Client Services, Planning, Media, IT, and Checking, the group will operate across departments and report directly to the agency’s leadership.
Among the priorities set for the coming months are the development of a best practices guide for the responsible use of AI, the creation of an internal experimentation database for tools, and the monitoring of solutions developed by the agency.
At the same time, NOVA has also established an internal training program consisting of monthly sessions between March and October, focused on the practical application of the technology and on evolving from individual usage to broader organizational impact.
“NOVA has an experienced and curious team that was already using artificial intelligence even before a formal structure existed for it. The Committee was created to transform individual initiatives into shared knowledge and to build processes that allow this learning to scale consistently,” says Ana Cristina Gonçalves, the agency’s Operations Director.
