Google I/O 2026 officially kicks off today, May 19, with two days of livestreamed keynotes, developer sessions, and product announcements focused heavily on AI, Android, and Google’s wider ecosystem.

While Google already gave Android its own dedicated showcase last week, I/O is expected to go much bigger on Gemini, AI-powered workflows, Android XR, and new developer tools across Chrome, Firebase, and Google Cloud.
