EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Evansville Regional Airport officials say they have introduced GoodMaps.
According to a press release, GoodMaps is an accessible indoor navigation technology that helps travelers move through the terminal.
The technology provides step-by-step guidance throughout the terminal using a mobile device.
Officials say it’s especially helpful for travelers who are blind or visually impaired, while also offering support for anyone who may want additional assistance navigating the airport.
“We’re committed at Evansville Regional Airport to providing an accessible travel experience for everyone,” said Nate Hahn, EVV Executive Director. “Partnerships and tools like GoodMaps help us deliver on that commitment by ensuring travelers can move through our airport with greater independence and confidence.”
