Technological Advancements Powering the New Fleet
The sixth-generation Waymo Driver represents a substantial upgrade, leveraging further advancements in artificial intelligence. Its updated vision system is capable of discerning intricate details in deep shadows and amidst high-beam illumination, requiring fewer cameras due to higher-resolution image sensors. Initial deployment of the sixth-generation Waymo Driver will occur aboard the Ojai, a modified Zeekr vehicle, before integration into the Hyundai Ioniq 5.
